2012 MISS SAN ANTONIO TEXAS & MISS SAN ANTONIO TEXAS TEEN PAGEANT
The 2012 Miss San Antonio Texas & Miss San Antonio Texas Teen pageant was held May 19, 2012 at the Palmetto Center for the Arts on the campus of Northwest Vista College. The audience was filled with family and friends, as well as current and former pageant titleholders.
Early in the afternoon, the 15 beautiful contestants participated in Personal Interview. During that time, the young ladies answered questions on several different topics, such as higher education, community involvement, and current events.
That evening, the pageant began with the distingushed panel of Judges being introduced on stage; then, the 2011 titleholders joined the 2012, 6 Teen contestants and 9 Miss contestants as they introduced themselves and performed a choreorgraphed dance routine.
The competition continued with Physical Fitness in Swimsuit and Evening Gown competition. In the Miss division, the 5 contestants with the highest scores from interview, physical fitness and evening gown determined the 5 finalists. Those 5 finalists and the 6 teen contestants answered an on stage question. After tabulating the scores from the competition, the runners up and winners were announced.
A separate panel of judges chose Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown, Prettiest On-Stage Smile, and Photogenic. The contestants in each division chose Miss Congeniality.
